Robots are all around us, and their presence is growing. Robots help humans in so many ways that it is hard to list out. From healthcare assistance to automatic doors, robots make life easier. There is one area removed from all the “usefulness” of robots that needs more attention, which is making robots fight! Battle of the Robots is a camp where the seriousness of robotics can be traded for the fast-paced and exciting work of competitive robot battles! Campers will work together to learn the fundamental properties of mechanical engineering to make the most robust bot possible. Battle of the robots is a great way to learn how cutting edge technologies such as programming, sensors, gears, and mechanics work, all while having fun.
