The institution was set up by Shri Chitturi Ganeswra Rao a renowned person, an illustrious son of the soil, and the founder of the Gayatri Group, JangaReddy Gudem. The institution is sponsored by Gayatri Group of Institutions JangaReddy Gudem .

Gayatri Group of Institutions was established in the year 2009 for the noble cause of imparting high quality technical education in Engineering, Technology, and Management sciences.
